Extreme Sample Converter makes it easy to browse through folders full of presets, examine their sample contents, audition them in real time using the virtual keyboard (at bottom left) or your MIDI keyboard, and convert them to other sample formats. CDXtract 4 allows you to select several programs and combine them in different ways. For example, an Akai CD-ROM can store hundreds of programs and samples, and to find the right sound you have to load them one by one in your sampler, this takes a lot of time and will probably cut your inspiration.
